Telstar Services has been in business for over 12 years. We are a locally owned and operated Service Company specializing in audio/video equipment. We service camcorders, LCD & DLP projectors, TVs, turntables, VCRs, DVD, audio receivers, tape decks, and most A/V equipment for professional and consumer customers.
We do our service here in Austin at our Burnet Road location. We have 3 experienced technicians, each having over 20 years of experience in the electronics field. We service school districts, A/V sales companies, producers, and many individuals in Austin, San Antonio, and the surrounding areas. We repair and thoroughly test all units by doing an overall checklist and running the units on a test bench over a 4-5 day period to insure quality service.
We complete
most repairs in 2-4 weeks and can rush any repair without an extra charge.

Since we live in Austin and we truly believe in Keeping Austin Weird, we are one of those companies that has weird hours. So, if it is Saturday at 2:00AM give us a call. We may or may not be working, but the phone has been answered and service has been done in the middle of the night and for more than one client.

Telstar offers a recycling program for your old audio and video equipment. We will strip all the useable parts out for reservicing. Then we dispose of them in the proper, safe manner; so, don’t let our landfills overflow with old VCR’s and camcorders while putting harmful toxins into the environment.
Yes, we can fix almost anything, but there are times when it is no longer cost effective, please let us help you dispose of those unwanted items in a safe and proper manner. Please only one per customer, thank you.
